EPA Forum on Food Waste 2019
The 2019 Forum on Food Waste takes place in The Radisson Blu, St. Helen’s Hotel, Stillorgan, Dublin on Wednesday, 10th July 9am-2pm. This event is free to attend but advance registration is required.
The Third National Forum on Food Waste will bring together delegates from businesses along the food supply chain to hear about how measuring food waste can provide insights on the issues and challenges in relation to food loss and waste in Ireland, presenting key findings from a new study on commercial food waste in Ireland.
The Forum will also explore opportunities for working collaboratively to reduce food waste, contributing to climate action and focus efforts towards the UN Sustainable Development Goal to reduce food waste by 50% by 2030.
Savour Food Team Member, Researcher Sarah Broderick of The Clean Technology Centre (CIT) will present the findings of her EPA funded research on commercial food waste in Ireland. The event will also see the launch of the newly updated ‘Less Waste More Profit’ publication.
