On December 6th, members of the EU Platform on Food Losses and Food met to discuss progress on the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 12.3, adopted in September 2015, to halve per capita food waste at the retail and consumer level by 2030 and reduce food losses along the food production and supply chains.
This platform brings together EU institutions and other relevant stakeholders. Subgroups on food donation, food waste measurement, action and implementation, and date marking and food waste prevention explore specific questions.
